First Day of School

My boys are getting so big. Not only did Christopher go back to school last week, but Thomas started school as well. They both had great first days of school and were very happy to see their friends again. Christopher has two wonderful teachers this year and he seems to like them both, but is having a hard time first thing in the morning as he doesn't like the fact that everything is not like last year...not all the same kids and not the same teachers in his class. But I'm sure that after a few more days he will adjust and our mornings will go a little more smoothly!
Thomas started school yesterday and walked in with his picture for his wall name-tag and his backpack and was ready to stay all day. Unfortunately, he only got to stay an hour the first day so that all the kids can adjust to school. Thomas was excited from the minute he got there and even asked me "why you here?" I asked the teacher if there was any help for mom's whose kids don't want them to stay...I'm used to my other guy who doesn't always like it when I leave.
I'm excited to see how next monday goes when they both stay for 2 1/2 hours. Even though, sometimes it's hard to accept that they are getting bigger and are going to preschool without me, its great to see how happy they are there and to know that they are learning all these wonderful things that they come home and share with me :)
