Fall Sports

So, we have sort of entered the world of weekend Fall sports. Our Saturday mornings feel a little crazy, but it is so fun and the boys love it! Thomas does swimming with Dad at 9 and Christopher has T-ball with me at 9:15. We do it all the Y so we go there together and Christopher and I watch Thomas for 10 minutes in swim class and then wander over the field and Thomas and Dad join us after swimming.
Thomas is a little fish in the water. He loves to jump, swim, play games and go under water. The teacher said he was ready for the next level which is more focused on learning to swim rather than just a class where you learn to get comfortable in the water...of course this makes Dad very proud!!
Christopher is doing great in T-ball. He listens very intently to the coach and tries to do everything he tells him. He hits the ball and runs around all the bases with a huge grin on his face. Last week he learned a better way to stand when he pitches the ball so that he can throw farther. Of course, this is the move that Steve has been trying to teach him all summer and he just keeps saying "I can do it on my own dad!" But when Coach Brian said something to him about it, he was like "of course Coach I'll try that!" I told Steve we might as well get used to it now that they would rather listen to coaches than us!
